Who doesn’t love comfort food!? From burgers and fries to golden rotisserie chicken, they bring back warm memories for all of us. Combine those delicious moments with quality that is a cut above the ordinary, and you’ll find yourself soaking up the irresistible flavours of Radley’s Rotisserie Chicken & Burgers in Chatswood Chase.
Hosted by the amazingly dedicated, welcoming, and genuine owner of Radley’s Rotisserie Chicken & Burgers, Jason Pope, we settle into the bright and fresh space for a cornucopia of culinary comforting. Jason is an old hand at the restaurant game, with successful culinary ventures in Singapore and other new, exciting foodie experiences coming soon to the Sydney CBD.
First cab off this comfort rank just has to be the famous Radley’s Beef Burger. Bulging with Angus beef, bacon, egg, swiss cheese, and the rest, this burger leaves no one unsatisfied. Its got that perfect balance of structure and meaty messiness that every serious burger needs.
How do you follow a “beaut” burger? You chase it with a trio of fried chicken and kimchi sliders, of course! Packing the perfect punch with acidic, spicy kimchi, the crispy, fried goodness of the chicken comes to life in every single bite. We could eat these endlessly!
What’s more comforting to an Aussie than, what has pretty much become one of our national dishes, the humble chicken schnittie. The difference from those found down at the local pub? Radley’s take on the chicken schnitzel is quality and lightness through and through. This massive, golden, unbelievably light and crispy plate-filler has to be one of the best we’ve had in Sydney. This just shows how attention to care and quality ingredients can lift a staple dish to new heights.
With his clearly talented partner Felicity, working wonders in the kitchen, Jason keeps the eclectic mix of foodie hits coming with the daily special crispy chicken tacos. Sinfully soft tacos cradle fluffy and crispy chicken tenders in a mix of mouth textures that offer a perfectly fresh interlude in this epic banquet.
I honestly have to say that we may have found one of the very best values in meat you’ll find in Sydney. Radley’s takes their steak seriously, and this top quality Angus Beef Prime Rib Steak has texture and taste that you’d expect to pay many times the price for anywhere else. If you’re a steak lover, this carefully slow-cooked piece of meat is worth a Radley’s recon alone.
For one last display of how Radley’s has managed to transform good ol’ staple dishes into memorable meal moments, we’re treated to a hearty rotisserie chicken dinner that just glistens with quality. Talk about tender, Radley’s Quarter Rotisserie Chicken is free range chicken, with a moistness and simple richness in flavour that speaks to the care that is taken for every ingredient at Radley’s in how it is sourced and prepared.
Radley’s is one of those foodie gems that checks all the boxes for a welcoming, delicious, and honest feed that brings quality to the plate for a price that let’s you enjoy it as a regular. Jason, Felicity, and the Radley’s Chatswood team clearly care about every part of the exceptional, uncomplicated food experience they bring to their customers. We’ll be keeping Radley’s at the top of our comfort food list for a long time to come.
